I want to start my Online Marketing Business. I'm just thinking
it is going to take me a while to build it due to my circumstances.
I have a family, a full time job and a lot of time commitments.
Should I wait or do it now?"
I understand this question and wondered this, too.
Here's my answer:
First, it may NOT take that long. Some people have built this
business to 6 figures per year working just one hour per day (and
sometimes even less).
But either way, so what if it takes time?
Time's passing anyway.
In fact, as a wise man (well, maybe "wise" is the wrong word, he
was actually a villain in a Star Trek movie) said...
"Time is the fire in which we burn"
And it's absolutely true.
Time is like fire.
Our lives are a giant forest, and the second we're born a fire is
set to it. During our lives we can do things to fan those flames
(like by not eating right, taking foolish risks, etc) and burn the
forest down faster.
We can also do things to slow it down, too.
But you can't douse that fire totally.
It ALWAYS burns.
And eventually, ALL our forests burn down.
That's why I don't recommend someone putting off starting a home
based business until they get their ducks lined up or the timing is
right or whatever.
There is no "right" time.
There is only TODAY.
Time is passing whether you're ready or not. The fire -- fast or
slow -- is burning. Question is, what will you DO with your time?
Wait to get your ducks lined up?
Or take action and seize your destiny?
It's up to you, my friend.
But historically action takers THRIVE...and duck liners take a dive.

It's NOT Going To Get Any Better
Real estate prices have dropped by 50% in most areas and 70% in some. And of course, things are just continuing to get worse, with cities running out of money and laying off entire police forces and closing schools… and the next few years will only get worse. Unfortunately this same scenario is spreading all over the country, and based on my work… because this is what I do… the next few years are most likely going to be pretty tough all over.
Hey, I know the facts. I know that about 90% of the population, not just in the U.S. but all over the world, everyone's days and nights are filled with lots of responsibilities; taking care of the kids, working at least 60 hours a week, and struggling to get through the month at the end of the money.
Really, who has time to think about things like the affects of currency inflation on society, or the bankrupting of entire countries by criminal enterprises like the Federal Reserve?
Maybe some of you can relate to this, because it hits me like a ton of bricks.
I simply don’t see the forest for the trees many times.
We have a global population that is living life to the best of their ability, but unless we are able to reach them with a simple and well thought-out message that resonates with them based on where “they” are coming from, we will never fully achieve our mission of “creating success and wealth in others one person at a time”.
I’m going to be giving this a lot of thought going forward, and could use everyone’s help that’s reading this.
Here’s what I know. There’s not a person on the planet that wouldn’t benefit from learning what we have learned. We joined this community to be a part of a different kind of company; one that doesn’t back away from the many inconvenient truths. Now we just have to work harder every day than the day before it to reach people, regardless of where they might be in their daily lives.

This Is a Rambling Rant About The Price of Coffee These Days and Why It’s Good News for Network Marketers in The U.S. and Probably Everywhere Else Too...

I “waltzed” into my local grocery store to buy coffee last week.
Would you believe that it now costs $9.59 to buy a tin of plain old Maxwell House coffee these days?
I said, a "tin of coffee".
But that's kind of stretching the truth...
They don't even use metal in these coffee "tins" these days...
They seriously package coffee in containers made out of recycled cardboard covered in reflective tinfoil now...
What is the world coming to?
You know I wonder about it some days....
The world is a crazy place.
Here's another crazy fact for you to contemplate...
In 1851 the New York Times Daily Edition sold for a penny.
Obviously the price has gone up a little since then.
But here's something even weirder...
What you might not know is that it has gone up even more since 1999.
In 1999 the New York Times daily edition cost $0.75.
In 2009 it went up to $2.00.
That's an increase of 166.66% from 1999 to 2009 alone!
I’m sure that would be fine if the New York Times was the only thing suffering from insane price increases lately...
But it most certainly is not.
For example, in 1999 it cost $2.28 to withdraw cash from an ATM machine.
Now it costs over $3.54 at some places.
That's an increase of 55.26%!
Do you remember "back in the day"?
When you could simply walk in and withdraw your hard earned savings without getting robbed blind by your bank?
Do you remember what it feels like to talk to a real live human being when you visit your local bank?
Most people these days do not.
I miss those days...
And don't even get started on the price of a gallon of gas...
Actually, let’s get me started on that...
I think this will hammer my point in...
In 1999 a gallon of gasoline cost approximately $1.30.
In 2009 it cost $2.56.
Yeppers, that's an increase of 96.92%!
What is the price of a gallon of gas today?
No idea.
But I do know that on May 10, 2010...
It averaged $2.91 country wide!
That's just not right.
I'm tempted to think that the worst part of this economic crisis hasn't even begun to hit us in full force yet...
In spite of so-called “financial experts” turning a blind eye to the facts...
Saying that we are in a “recovery”...
We most certainly are not...
I know that's terrible to say...
But I call it like I see it...
And in spite of all my “whining” today... I do have good news...
The good news is...
If you're running your own home based business or starting one....
Well then, the next couple of years of this “economic recovery” are going to be the most important years of your financial life...
How can I possibly say that?
It’s simple really...
There's a lot of tragedy happening these days...
That’s for sure...
But what most people don't know is that during trying times of economic crisis like we are experiencing today...
Whenever people are losing their jobs or income...
Well that is exactly when they are looking to leaders and entrepreneurs like you to show them the way to a fresh new beginning...
They are looking to you to lead them to financial success...

In Michigan it was 12.8%

In Florida was 11.9%
And so on...
Of course, those are only the "reported" numbers...
Many experts disagree with those ones...
They say it's really much worse than what the government is telling us...
And that it’s going to get dramatically worse before it gets better...
What do you think? I don't know whether or not to believe in “them”.
I don't necessarily think it's a conspiracy.
But here's what I do know....
The people who make the most profit in tough economic times are the brave men and women who aren’t scared to face the truth...
What a lot of people don't know is that more millionaires were made during the Great Depression than during any other crisis in human history.

The Profile of a Successful Entrepreneur
Almost every day, I get asked by business partners and
students, "What is the ideal profile of a Succesful Entrepreneur?"
They want to know, "Can you tell who will be successful and who
most likely will not."
Well, the truth is, nobody can be 100%

even family time.
In other words, successful people do the things today
that others won't do, so that they can do the things tomorrow
that others can't do.
Put another way, successful people do whatever they have
to do as fast as they can, so that they can do whatever they

2 Reasons Your Prospects Don't Buy
Over my 14 years in Home Based Business and many tens of thousands of prospecting calls, I’ve found that there are only two (2) reasons why prospects don’t buy, get started, sign up or order your product or service.
It’s always either one or the other:
#1- They are not ready yet
#2 – You are not the leader they are looking for
Now both of these reasons has a list of sub-reasons that more clearly define them, but ultimately the following two reasons encompass everything else when you get down to the brass tacks about why people don’t buy from you.
#1 – They are not ready yet
When your prospect is not ready yet this doesn’t mean that they won’t be ready in the future. It just means that they don’t want to move forward and take action now.
Perhaps they’ve bought one of their own excuses and come up with reasons why it shouldn’t, couldn’t, or wouldn’t work for them.
Perhaps they just cannot decide what they want, which describes about 90% of the people you speak with. They make no resolutions, make no decisions, and have no forward progression – ever.
Most often this comes from “job mentality”. They are used to a boss telling them what they can and cannot do, so to make life changing decisions on their own, is something they are not comfortable doing.
This is not of your doing and you cannot change it, so you just have to realize that these people are conditioned this way and are programmed to doubt themselves and those around them, so they don’t decide and therefore, they stay right where they are.
You must not take personal responsibility for those who cannot decide, and move on without attachment.
Perhaps they are not ready yet because they are preoccupied with other commitments and to add one more to their plate makes them feel overwhelmed.
This could also be the case for many successful people who multi-task and have multiple streams of income coming in. Many times these are your best potential customers and/or business partners and when they are truly ready for a “change”, watch out, because their past history of success will repeat itself and they will become a top producer on your team.
Another reason why your prospects don’t get started is because they are not what I call, “a critical thinker”.
A critical thinker is someone who after looking or listening to your information does not see the opportunity. They say things like, “I don’t think anyone would pay $25 for a bottle of juice” or “who would buy that information for $500?” or “nobody I know would do this”.
What they are really telling you is that they wouldn’t pay for or do it and so they project onto everyone around them that nobody else would either and they will even try to convince you that your opportunity isn’t good.
To bad, so sad. Don’t be mad. Just thank them for their time and show them the door. Let them know that if they ever get serious about changing their life, that they should feel free to get back in touch with you. Many times, you won’t even want them to, so don’t say it if you don’t mean it.
Now, there will be times when a prospect does move forward and take action by buying your product or service, but then they don’t act on what they’ve just purchased if they’ve expressed interest in building a business with you.
Perhaps they will read the information, take the pills, drink the juice or use the service, but they are just not ready to start marketing yet.
Remember, knowledge is not power. Applied knowledge is power, so if someone knows about the opportunity or has the information but does not act on it, again, it’s because they are just not ready yet.
Their belief in the opportunity’s potential, affects their actions, which affects their results, which affects their belief, which in turn feeds what they believe is possible or not and the cycle of procrastination continues.
Again, no fault of your own.
Keep these people on your drip list, in an autoresponder or follow up file and perhaps down the road, they will contact you and ask what they must do next in order to move forward.
Remember, this is OK, because what I’ve found over the years is that there is nothing stronger than the heart of a volunteer and when they come to you, chances are, they really mean it.
#2 – You are not the leader they are looking for
When I say “leader”, this could also mean, “marketer”, “salesperson”, “information provider” or “business partner”.
No matter what title you give yourself, the rabbit hole goes deep on this one.
When I was struggling with enrolling people into my business many years ago, I realized that what was keeping me from getting my prospects started, (after I weeded out those who were not ready yet), was me!
My prospects doubt far exceeded my own sense of certainty; therefore I was not the leader they were looking for.
My doubts and fears of success, failure, leadership and responsibility were so strong that I repelled good people who might have joined if I was more comfortable with myself.
I liked my business, my product & my opportunity; I just didn’t really like myself yet, for the role that I wanted to play. I knew it and so did others.
This is a big piece to the puzzle.
So the bottom line is this…
When you truly feel good about yourself, others will too.
When you have peace of mind and emotional autonomy, others will sense your self esteem and will want to be a part of whatever product, company or marketing system you are aligned with.
The key is that while you work on your business, you also work on yourself. Many times, just as much or more.
Great books, CDs, mentoring programs, coaching, you name it. All of these things will greatly assist you in developing your mindset, your belief system and your attractor factor.
This is a part of the laws of attraction and when you become attractive to other people, they will want whatever it is you have to offer.

Perhaps they just cannot decide what they want, which describes about 90% of the people you speak with. They make no resolutions, make no decisions, and have no forward progression – ever.
Most often this comes from “job mentality”. They are used to a boss telling them what they can and cannot do, so to make life changing decisions on their own, is something they are not comfortable doing.
This is not of your doing and you cannot change it, so you just have to realize that these people are conditioned this way and are programmed to doubt themselves and those around them, so they don’t decide and therefore, they stay right where they are.
You must not take personal responsibility for those who cannot decide, and move on without attachment.
Perhaps they are not ready yet because they are preoccupied with other commitments and to add one more to their plate makes them feel overwhelmed.
This could also be the case for many successful people who multi-task and have multiple streams of income coming in. Many times these are your best potential customers and/or business partners and when they are truly ready for a “change”, watch out, because their past history of success will repeat itself and they will become a top producer on your team.
Another reason why your prospects don’t get started is because they are not what I call, “a critical thinker”.
A critical thinker is someone who after looking or listening to your information does not see the opportunity. They say things like, “I don’t think anyone would pay $25 for a bottle of juice” or “who would buy that information for $500?” or “nobody I know would do this”.
What they are really telling you is that they wouldn’t pay for or do it and so they project onto everyone around them that nobody else would either and they will even try to convince you that your opportunity isn’t good.
To bad, so sad. Don’t be mad. Just thank them for their time and show them the door. Let them know that if they ever get serious about changing their life, that they should feel free to get back in touch with you. Many times, you won’t even want them to, so don’t say it if you don’t mean it.
Now, there will be times when a prospect does move forward and take action by buying your product or service, but then they don’t act on what they’ve just purchased if they’ve expressed interest in building a business with you.
Perhaps they will read the information, take the pills, drink the juice or use the service, but they are just not ready to start marketing yet.
Remember, knowledge is not power. Applied knowledge is power, so if someone knows about the opportunity or has the information but does not act on it, again, it’s because they are just not ready yet.
Their belief in the opportunity’s potential, affects their actions, which affects their results, which affects their belief, which in turn feeds what they believe is possible or not and the cycle of procrastination continues.
Again, no fault of your own.
Keep these people on your drip list, in an autoresponder or follow up file and perhaps down the road, they will contact you and ask what they must do next in order to move forward.
Remember, this is OK, because what I’ve found over the years is that there is nothing stronger than the heart of a volunteer and when they come to you, chances are, they really mean it.
#2 – You are not the leader they are looking for
When I say “leader”, this could also mean, “marketer”, “salesperson”, “information provider” or “business partner”.
No matter what title you give yourself, the rabbit hole goes deep on this one.
When I was struggling with enrolling people into my business many years ago, I realized that what was keeping me from getting my prospects started, (after I weeded out those who were not ready yet), was me!
My prospects doubt far exceeded my own sense of certainty; therefore I was not the leader they were looking for.
My doubts and fears of success, failure, leadership and responsibility were so strong that I repelled good people who might have joined if I was more comfortable with myself.
I liked my business, my product & my opportunity; I just didn’t really like myself yet, for the role that I wanted to play. I knew it and so did others.
This is a big piece to the puzzle.
So the bottom line is this…
When you truly feel good about yourself, others will too.
When you have peace of mind and emotional autonomy, others will sense your self esteem and will want to be a part of whatever product, company or marketing system you are aligned with.
The key is that while you work on your business, you also work on yourself. Many times, just as much or more.
Great books, CDs, mentoring programs, coaching, you name it. All of these things will greatly assist you in developing your mindset, your belief system and your attractor factor.
This is a part of the laws of attraction and when you become attractive to other people, they will want whatever it is you have to offer.
Obviously, what we do is not for everyone.
But neither is success.

Self-Growth
So I guess the Universe wants me
to be doing some serious self-growth
at the moment!
Almost half of this entire month I'm going to
be working on myself & being
dedicated to my own education & growth in life.
I'm not kidding when I tell you/teach
you in all my blog posts & trainings that there
is NOTHING more important than your
education... and your SELF growth.
Absolutely NOTHING.
To the extent YOU GROW, is to the extent
your BUSINESS will grow. It's a sound,
scientific equation. It doesn't work any
other way.
If you don't educate yourself, if you don't
teach yourself new skills, if you don't
expose yourself to new knowledge, if
you don't TRANSFORM any area of
your life that's hindering you...
... Then you will never be successful.
Success = Growth. It's just THAT simple.
I'm not kidding when I say the most
attractive thing about being a LEADER is
when you have created so much value within
yourself, it's just overflowing on everyone
around you.
The only way to do that is to NEVER STOP
growing. Never stop learning. Never stop
training yourself. Never stop climbing
higher & higher mountains.
Just NEVER stop. Success is pretty much
that simple.
At the end of the day... when I really
look at what FUELS my life, my drive,
& my desire to do this business, it's CARE.
It's because I care.
I care about you. I care about myself.
I care so much, I couldn't sit back & accept
living a life I KNEW was not going to really
fulfill me. I knew I was worth it to GO for
my dreams in life.
I know YOU are worth it to go for your
dreams in life. I am inspired, fueled, driven
because I care so damn much about this world,
about you, about people leading more fulfilling
lives.
The money follows your CARE. It follows your
passion. If you don't really care DEEPLY about
your life, your growth, your future, your fulfillment,
& ultimately what you can contribute to this planet
by means of building YOUR business...
... Then you are missing the fuel. You're missing
the real JUICE that powers the whole engine of
being a grass roots entrepreneur, like we are.
I hope I can keep inspiring you to care more, &
more, & more about yourself...
... and everyone else too while we're at it. :)
